California BBS Workshop Hours and Supervision
Prior to September 29, 2012 the BBS required you to meet the minimum supervision requirement (1 unit) in order to claim professional enrichment activities (workshops). Changes to Requirements for Supervisors
The BBS Supervision Committee has recommended the following changes to requirements for supervisors (these recommended changes have not been formally submitted to the Board for approval yet): Increase the initial training of LMFT and LPCC supervisors to 15 hours for consistency with the current requirements for LCSW supervisors.

Changes to how supervision is reported on BBS MFT experience verification form
The new BBS MFT experience verification form (04/2015 and revised 06/2015) changes the way the supervision per week section is populated. The supervision per week column is now populated with units instead of hours.
